This is a loose, general list of information related to the Abandoned by Disney series.
It'll be updated randomly and filled out, blah blah blah.
Inspiration
Abandoned by Disney was inspired, in no small part, by Roger Barr's iMockery.net article detailing his trip to a defunct and abandoned resort island. Without this blog post, AbD wouldn't exist. This is also the blog post mentioned IN the story itself, to make sure the inspiration was noted loud and clear.
Original Stories
Dandyland "Universe"
"Dandyland" is a collection of the four original Abandoned by Disney stories, scrubbed of Disney trademarks in favor of more original-ish characters and locations. The stories are also edited for (most) errors and updated to more modern standards. Further, a few small changes have been made to the stories to take common criticisms into account.

Toon Tipping (A short story in the Too Spooky Tales collection)

Concepts
Corruptuses/Corrupti (Whatever you prefer.)
- Entities created from a shared human belief in something, similar to a Tulpa, but corrupted by negative aspects of human fallibility and/or negative perceptions.
- May take many forms, with no set meta guidelines or rules as to what a Corruptus can or cannot be or do.
- Some, if not all, bleed gold/yellow ichor, a reference to their state of being as a sort of "false deity" similar to the biblical "golden calf".
Magnum Opus Project (MOP)
- The Magnum Opus Project, or "MOP", is the in-company group formed to observe and catalogue Corruptuses. MOP funding is allocated under the false pretense that it is a charitable outreach program.
- The name "MOP" is a reference to Fantasia's "The Sorcerer's Apprentice", representing both the brooms in terms of Disney's creations getting out of control, and Mickey's job cleaning up after them with an actual mop in the end. In-Universe, this segment of Fantasia can even be viewed as a cautionary tale created for Disney's own staff to watch and learn the concept - warning employees of Disney, apprentices of the sorcerer, not to create what they can't control.
- Thusfar, MOP has appeared briefly in the short story book Dumb Dead Brother and the text game Distress.
