The Morgue Man was a human male who was employed in a hospital morgue. After being caught stealing human remains, he was formally charged and convicted. Afterward, he was stabbed to death in prison.
The Morgue Man currently exists as a supernatural entity that is building itself a "body" of random, mismatched organs, limbs, and so on. It covers itself in a tattered body bag, giving it the general appearance of a Sheet Ghost with "tentacles" of entrails.
The Morgue Man appears to be capable of pulling living beings into a alternate version of the real world, in which no other living beings exist other than the target. At that point, the Morgue Man pursues its victim and attempts to steal part of their body.
The Morgue Man is currently trapped inside the hospital where it once worked, apparently until it can acquire a fresh, working human hand to open doors with.
